As the hype around Action Bronson’s debut album, Mr. Wonderful, continues to build, the Queens lyricist drops a brand new track called “Baby Blue” to ease the anxious minds of his fans. Over the feel-good and soulful jazz production of Mark Ronson, Bam Bam and his running mate Chance The Rapper calmly expose the sadness of failed relationships with their usual comedic and honest flows. “Why you always all on my back? Why you gotta do me like that? Why you gotta act like a bitch when I’m with you? Baby girl I’m blue,” he croons on the hook.
The release marks the fourth song off Bronsolino’s album following head-turners like “Easy Rider,” “Actin’ Crazy,” and “Terry.” It’s safe to say his quirky personality and soothing flows are starting to draw some attention, even his web series “Fuck That’s Delicious” has been cleared for a second season. It’s about time we give Action his due credit. Check out “Baby Blue” below and be on the lookout for Mr. Wonderful on March 24th.
