From now until March 22, 2020, Awol Erizku’s work will be shown in the Irish Museum of Modern Art in the group exhibition, Desire: A Revision from the 20th Century to the Digital Age. This group exhibit is all about desire and its manifestations in structural power. Having worked under artists like Lorna Simpson and with groups such as A$AP Ferg for documentary photography, Erizku’s photography makes a point to feature Black subjects and highlight his own culture.
