David Shrigley, Deborah Roberts, Andreas Eriksson, Denzil Forrester — Multiple II @ Stephen Friedman Gallery (London)

The Stephen Friedman Gallery has its second edition of Multiple on display, featuring new works by artists David Shrigley, Deborah Roberts, Andreas Eriksson, and Denzil Forrester. Shrigley’s newest work is in line with his typical artistic style, usually inspired by offhand sayings and dry humor. Roberts explores the untold side of history in an exploration of race and identity in “One history, two versions (Bullet Point)”. Forrester and Eriksson both feature reworked imagery in a new style — Forrester takes inspiration from a classic picture of London nightlife and makes it into a lithograph with his own style and techniques, while Eriksson takes his sketches and embosses them, creating a unique sense of space. This 9-day exhibit will be on view until Saturday, September 14th.

Ends September 14th, 2019
