Didier William’s first solo exhibition in Los Angeles is titled, Pulse, and will be available for viewing at M+B until October 24th. Pulse is influenced by William’s personal experience and Haitian history to explore concepts such as colonialism and the struggle for obtaining agency in creating one’s identity. William utilizes mixed media to explore these controversial concepts; he forces the viewers to rethink their preconceived notions of abstract and figurative when looking at his work.
