Hank Willis Thomas’ All Things Being Equal… is opening at the Portland Art Museum on October 12th, 2019. The interdisciplinary exhibit features more than 90 works of photography, sculpture, video installments, public art projects, and interactive pieces. The exhibit showcases how several of Thomas’ pieces bring to light issues of capitalism, race, class, and socioeconomic inequity. The intentionality behind Thomas’ work is hard to miss with his use of striking visual imagery and pop culture motifs. This extensive exhibit will be on view until January 12th, 2020.
