Luchita Hurtado’s I Live I Die I Will Be Reborn is now open at Serpentine Sackler Gallery. Known for her simultaneous grounded-yet-transcendental approach and the use of her own body, Hurtado’s works in this exhibit inspire awareness of the interconnectivity between human beings and the cosmos. With work in various mediums, including graphite, ink, crayon and oil, Hurtado expands upon her common themes of nature, the body, and language.
