The Museum of Modern Art has announced a retrospective exhibit for musician, composer, and artist Bjork in early 2015. The exhibit will be curated by Chief Curator at Large and Director of MoMA Ps1 Klaus Biesenbach and the narrative co-writter by Sjon Sigurdsson and Bjork herself. The installation will present a film and music experience created by director Andrew Huang and Autodesk. The retrospective also brings the app Biophilia to the MoMA’s collection, the first of it’s kind.
“Björk is an extraordinarily innovative artist whose contributions to contemporary music, video, film, fashion, and art have had a major impact on her generation worldwide,” said Klaus Biesenbach. “This highly experimental exhibition offers visitors a direct experience of her hugely collaborative body of work.”
